Overview

Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1285, by Zlêyêv Zlkartesí. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Zlêyêv Zlkartesí.

Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà is is constructed arround a series of premissive cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Unfortuantly, these millitarily questionable fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà is like looking into a university’s plaza on the day before an exam. People rush about to-and-fro. Discarded scrolls and quills are dotted around town. In spite of many locals discussing academic topics, there’s little sign of any organized groups for any of that talk. Infact, the town seems disordered in general with everything scattered helter skelter about.

Points of Interest

Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà was unknowingly built atop something unstable, and now that substrate is crumbling. It may be swampy ground or a decaying coastline, or it could be an ancient buried city that’s now giving way. In the case of some antique habitation, the denizens that once lived there might be boiling upward as their home is collapsing, or new opportunities may be revealed even as the community’s present structure is ruined.

Vu̹chyû Bumâ Kîchyà 's is something of a geological and arcane anomaly, as neither physical nor magical law entirely explains its formation.
